Today, I went to the beach front with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic but I had to tell someone!

I think what you wrote was actually very reasonable. But, consider this, what if you were to write a killer post title? I ain't suggesting your information isn't good. , however suppose you added a headline that makes people want more? I mean "Greg Street's Sneaker Collection" is kinda plain.
You should look at Yahoo's front page and note how they write article titles to get viewers interested. You might add a video or a related picture or two to grab readers interested about what you've got to say. In my opinion, it could make your blog a little livelier.
